Peter Foesters was born in 1968 in Belgium.
He followed 7 years of art education and graduated in 1992.
With a passion for graphics and painting, he sought his way in modeling recognizable objects in plaster and clay.
In the beginning of the 2000s he modeled and painted movie scenes on canvas.
He created his own technique through the use of polystyrene on canvas.
This material brings depth in his work.
The work he makes is quite simple through the use of only straight lines, this makes it tense.
Depth in combination with straight lines brings a dimension to the work.
That is why he calls it "the straight dimensions".
Always keep searching and reinventing yourself: that’s the key!
